No tracking
The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
The contact form
When you send the form, your name, email address, organisation (if you give one), the kind of work you are interested in and your message are sent to Formspree, which delivers them to my inbox. I use them only to reply to you and to follow up on that conversation. They are not added to a mailing list and not shared with anyone else.
Before you send, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are not a bot. Cloudflare receives technical information from your browser for that check. The check loads only on pages with the form, when you reach it.
I keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is useful. Ask me and I delete yours.
Fonts and videos
- The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google.
- Video thumbnails load from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com). The video player itself loads from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger, whose servers keep standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and operation.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, or object to how it is used, by emailing hello@tuomastiilikainen.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Finland that is the Data Protection Ombudsman.
